Hi mom, This week was great. We have been doing a lot trying to improve ways to find people to teach and so far it has been doing pretty well. We teach more and more, things are changing here it is so great. And you know what else, I actually talk to people it is way cool, ya and it is in Japanese. Oh guess what, I tried raw fish again, and I liked it. It was tuna and it was good. I am so weird. I thought you might like to know that. This week went by so fast. this transfer is already half way over. most likely will have a new comp in like 3 weeks or so. Things are going way fast. It is just so crazy. Well, anyway other than that things are great. Just got a lot of work to do here and hardly anytime to do it in. Well, sorry to make this short, but we are going to go and eat some octopus right now, it will be interesting.I love you and miss you all. Love Elder Lane Ashmore

Nabari City Mascot
"NAKKY"
The city mascot Intention of the naming: The character name “Nakky” comes from the Japanese word’s initial pronunciation of “Nabari” and “Kikyo(balloonflower)”, and wishies the city to be “lucky”
City Symbol
The city emblem: The upper part of Nabari-shi emblem expresses mountains and rural district, and development of industry including agriculture. The lower part shows a flow of a waterfall, and elegant disposition of the citizens of Nabari.
